Osprey family not disturbed by passing traffic 

Kimberley Ports Authority maintains four Osprey nesting platforms within the Port of Broome.

These nesting platforms are designed to allow Ospreys to build their nest above the ports working zones and operations, away from human interactions and disturbance.

However, during 2021 a family of Osprey raised two chicks on infrastructure alongside the wharf approach.
